Term 2 Meeting

Snapshots from our school libraries

Our Term 2 meeting is scheduled for the 15th May at 3pm, via the SLANSW Zoom Room. Join us to hear a sequence of snapshots from multiple school libraries.

Staff from three different school libraries will share their valuable expertise in tasks that are part of school libraries daily practice across the state:

  • Rae Carter from Camberwarra Public School will show  a shelving guide she created for teachers and to provide guidance about where books belong etc. It is also used to help train our library monitors.
  • Eliza Simmons from Broughton Anglican College will do a short presentation on  clever ways to create displays using a Cricut machine.
  • Monique North from Loreto Kirribilli will discuss ways that Library staff can assist students and teachers with referencing the use of AI ethically and precisely.

We will also have our usual informal catch-up, chat, and share what we have been doing in our libraries so far in 2024.

This session will be held on Wednesday 15 May between 3 - 4pm in the SLANSW Zoom Room.

You must register to ensure you are sent the Zoom login details within 24hours before your session.
